like… even the OPENING ANIMATION is terrible. you would think something that will be recycled for 26 odd eps would look good but… nope…. garbage

that fucking music video they made to promote the opening song is animated better and could have been used instead..i have no idea why they decided to go all out on that and then make the opening animation super dull and shitty looking in comparison

yeaah seriously at first I thought “Well, it’s a web-only series sooo they don’t have sponsors so, that explains it!!” But it’s fucking TOEI, they make so much money, and it’s obvious that they’re cutting corners so they can make the most profit off of it, it’s so shitty -_-

sailor moon was my very very 1st exposure to anime when i was around 4 and it was a huge part of my childhood so having this really poorly done remake existing and kind of ruining the whole *~magic~* of the series bums me out a whole lot if I think about it too much, like damn

they fucked up the cats’ designs too, they don’t even look cute anymore they just look bizarre. shiiiit

sailor moon crystal has like….such a different feel to it than what the original manga and anime had..but not in a good way, it’s just strange and really uncomfortable to watch and not just because of the glaring art errors and sloppy animation. the characters are like shells of what theyre supposed to be and the romance subplot which is like one of the biggest parts of the series is rushed and awkward and tuxedo mask acts like a creepy fucked up robot..probably the biggest disappointment for me in years, tbh. And I waited soooooo long for it to finally start airing after all the delays
