i want to make a MAL account again because i have nothing better to do and i want to catalogue my impeccable taste in anime for everyone to see but i know that if i make one i’m going to spend hours trackign down everything i’ve ever watched or plan to watch and forget about it a week later like i did years ago

the romance genre in anime is really weird because it ranges from terrible and predictable hyper-sexual harem shows or shoujo-y shows where the focus is just on one couple or a few couples but everything progresses extremely slowly or it doesn’t even progress at all and suddenly it’s episode 20 and they’re like “DOUSHIO I DONT WANT TO HOLD HANDS THAT’S EMBARRASSING >.<” there are good examples of romance anime but it’s like finding a gem in a dimly-lit shit-cave and it’s frustrating!!!!!!!
