When the only place in the world you have any power or courage is the internet, it’s like murder to be harassed on it. I don’t mean to insult anyone that is in that boat, but honestly, that’s why you don’t ever want to give yourself COMPLETELY to one single thing. Your ego can’t take that. It’s hard, and believe me, there’s times where I put so much of myself into Mega64 that when things didn’t go well, I took it super personally. And it sucked! But I had to remind myself that Mega64 wasn’t me. I am me. Have varied interests, hobbies, and venues. When someone insults me on the computer, at the end of the day I know how much other awesome stuff I have in my life besides that. I leave with the satisfaction that some baby is still leaving me anonymous mean comments while I’m out barbecuing carne asada or kissing a girl or something. The Internet is not you. Be a powerful being outside of it. Then you won’t ever care what a shit kid named Roxas69 thinks you should do to bring yourself to his level of misery.
