Mondoka Megoka CONFIRMED 100% as an anime you can show to an adventurous or open-minded mom, yuo can thank me later 

i think im gonna stream a movie later tonight, i’ll leave an announcement here before i start

so here’s a summary of my mom’s thoughts on madokas so far, after seeing episode 2 and the infamous,. episode 3
she thought the madoka mom’s drunk antics were amusing and laffed pretty hard, i think she thought hitomi was funny too
she also seemed like she was in suspense a lot of the time and really wanted to know what homura wished for, it was p great
then it got to the part where mami and everyone goes inside the hospital witch labyrinth and it got intense and i think my mom was kind of spooked by charlotte eating mami’s head off but she said she wouldn’t miss mami much since she was only in a few episodes (probably just jealous of mami’s boobs and wanted her gone tbh, i know how you think mom)
I asked her what her favorite characters were, and she said Kyubey and Madoka (or “mondoka” as she says), I think she just likes Kyubey cause he’s cute, but I asked her what she likes about Madoka and she said something like “it’s cool that she wants to be great at something : ) I think everyone wants to be great at something, I respect that” it was cute
Then i asked what her overall impression of the show was and she said she liked it, and that she really admired the creativity and effort put into the designs, for the witch barriers especially, and the pretty animation and colors and stuff, and she’s really interested in the story so far and she can’t wait to see what all the other witch barriers look like and what happens to the characters
