my dad went through a scary 7+ hour surgery and he’s finally cancer free and doesn’t have to do chemo anymore, it’s been over half a year since he was first diagnosed and it was very hard for me and my mom and brother, but we can rest easy now knowing that it’s over and he doesn’t have to go through any more painful, dangerous surgeries or treatments. There is the possibility that it could come back but for now I’m just relieved that he beat it and all he has to do now is recover. It was a long fight for him and I’m glad he can finally go back to living normally and spend more time with my mom instead of being in and out of the hospital constantly. Thanks to everyone who was supportive of me last fall when I first found out about my dad’s illness, and also to everyone who helped with my mom’s donation drive or spread the word about it. Cancer sucks and I feel for anyone whose lives have been affected by it, thanks again..
