it’s supposed to be a response to people who say “but not all men ____” whenever someone talks about misogyny and stuff, like yeah of course not ALL men are like that, but the vast majority of women have been treated poorly by shitty men just because of their gender or sexually harassed in some way at least one time in their lives, u would be hard pressed to find a girl who hasn’t experienced that. i think it’s good that it’s giving a lot of people an outlet to talk about their bad experiences and it brings awareness to an important societal issue. Hashtag activism is kinda dumb though. But the kinds of people who actually throw a tantrum about it online and say it’s just some “tumblr feminazi” bullshit are annoying and need to grow up lol
