im watching my boyfriend’s nephews play castle crashers and they finished a boss fight and got to the part where they have to fight eachother to kiss the princess and the 6 year old starts getting buttmad because his younger brother was beating him and the younger one puts on this shit eating grin and is like “is someone needing 2 go 2 bed now?? someones grumpy!!! B^)"

that’s exactly what I think!! It’s just annoying how obvious games can be about that shit and it’s like they assume that men can only enjoy things or take an interest in things if it contains bouncing titty or squealing moe uguu girls it just ruffles my feathers!! There are SO many possibilities for the kinds of fun and exciting games you can create, but when games use heavy fanservice to draw people in it’s jUST LIKE HOLY FU CK VIDEO GAMES CAN BE FUN FOR REASONS ASIDE FROM THE TITTY OK SO IT’S OK TO HAVE TITTY JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON’T RELY ON THE TITTY AS YOUR MAIN SELLING POINT AND ACTUALLY MAKE IT A FUN GAME GOD 

yeah i don’t really understand the whole mindset of “that female character is super sexualized so the creators muST BE MISOGYNIST PIGS" both male and female characters are sexualized all the time. Street Fighter is full of idealized half-naked huge beef cake-y dudes!!! 
people are always like “but why do the girls always have to be super pretty  why cant they look like real womyn.," 
it just so happens that the audience that video games are created for is primarily male and heterosexuals are the majority sooo making a game with only sexy dudes wouldn’t sell much!! it’s a business!!!!!!! and it’s dumb but some people don’t want female characters to be average-looking or ugly because “bUT WHAT ABOUT MY FANTASY WORLD THAT I CAN ESCAPE TO WHERE EVERYTHING IS IDEAL AND PERFECT" or “MY WAIFU!!!!" and that IS dumb and i don’t really like it when people act like that because it’s immature BUT u have to remember that sex sells and game devs are aware of that.
