sailor moon crystal has like….such a different feel to it than what the original manga and anime had..but not in a good way, it’s just strange and really uncomfortable to watch and not just because of the glaring art errors and sloppy animation. the characters are like shells of what theyre supposed to be and the romance subplot which is like one of the biggest parts of the series is rushed and awkward and tuxedo mask acts like a creepy fucked up robot..probably the biggest disappointment for me in years, tbh. And I waited soooooo long for it to finally start airing after all the delays
