On a absolument besoin de diminuer les déchets liés à l’emballage. Dans l’espace pour des raisons d’encombrement, de coût, et comme sur Terre pour des raisons évidentes de ressources et de pollution. Le CNES et l’ESA expérimentent en ce moment différentes façons de protéger ce qu’ils nous envoient en diminuant le poids et les déchets.

A simple packaging material, but probably even more so in space than on Earth we need to minimise waste and packaging. The lighter and smaller the box that your supplies come in the better for your wallet and the environment. CNES and ESA are experimenting with different ways of keeping the stuff they send to us in good condition, but also with less weight and waste.

We always fly over France from the West and depending on the orbit it can be the south-west, in which case we fly over Spain first, or the north-west when Brittany is the first view of France. Les points blancs dans la Baie du Prieuré et plus généralement partout sur la Rance sont en fait des bateaux amarrés ! De la houle sur la presqu-île de Quiberon qui fait moutonner les vagues et changer l’eau de couleur. Au moins force 6 sur l’échelle de Beaufort, si je me rappelle mes leçons de navigation. Looks like stormy weather around the Quiberon peninsula. Waves crash into the northern coast, and the colour of the sea is a clue. The city dwellings indicate that the soutern side of the island is more calm!
