Finally! A place that has long escaped my camera, for different reasons. The clouds diverge to unveil the island of Kerguelen, at the end of the world, in the southern French lands. Wind, clouds, freezing temperatures: not a paradise for a holiday, but a destination for scientists and engineers ... including from CNES

Enfin ! Une autre cible qui m’échappait depuis longtemps, pour des raisons différentes. Les nuages s’écartent pour dévoiler les îles Kerguelen, au bout du monde, dans les Terres australes françaises. Vent, nuages, températures glaciales : pas un paradis pour vacanciers, mais une destination idéale pour les scientifiques et les ingénieurs… notamment du CNES
