Since the arrival of SpaceX's Dragon vehicle, I have not had time to take a lot of pictures ... too much work, even on weekends! I realised today that I had not looked outside in two whole days, and when I went to take in the view from the cupola for 5 minutes over lunch, this is what I got to see!

Depuis l’arrivée du ravitailleur Dragon de SpaceX, je n’ai pas eu le loisir de prendre beaucoup de photos… trop de travail, même le weekend ! J’ai réalisé aujourd’hui que je n’avais pas regardé dehors depuis deux jours entiers, et quand je suis allé jeter un œil dans la cupola 5 minutes en déjeunant, voilà ce qui m’attendait…

Glaciers and snow in the Alps, look a bit like whipped egg whites. And they are fragile like eggs too, you can see the traces of melting already.

Les glaciers et la neige, au milieu des alpes, ont une texture d’œufs… en neige ! Mais la fonte de certains est visible.
