Un nouveau passage par temps clair (pour une fois…) au-dessus de Londres : j’en ai profité pour retenter la #BigPicture de la capitale du Royaume-Uni. Un peu moins ratée cette foi… La NASA a assemblé les quelques dizaines de photos pour ce collage pour créer cette immense image de 375 Mo :sweat_smile: Pas de trou dans cette version :ok_hand: Ce soir tous les yeux sont à nouveau braqués sur Wembley Stadium pour le match de l’Euro 2020 entre l’Angleterre et le Danemark… Bon match !

Mother nature is kind, and since I embarrassed myself with a big hole in my last photomapping attempt of London, she gave me a second chance with another sunny pass right overhead. NASA stitched together dozens of pictures to create this 375 mb image. No missing parts (Hi Kingston upon Thames! :wave::wink:) Of course all eyes on Wembley Stadium tonight again for UEFA2020 and #ENG #DEN. Cold stowage ops! Le dernier chargement juste avant de fermer le sas et laisser un cargo Dragon repartir, ce sont tous nos échantillons congelés : sang, urine, salive et j’en passe, on donne de nos corps pour la science :droplet: Le Dragon a des congélateurs fonctionnant pendant son retour vers la Terre, mais il faut veiller à ne pas briser la chaine du froid :snowflake: en transférant les échantillons. Ils sont stockés à - 80°C, on est obligés de porter des gants pour les manipuler ! Comme d’habitude la NASA a tout prévu, avec le même principe que pour… un picnic : pour un déplacement aussi court, des glacières et des briques à froid font l’affaire :ok_hand:

Preparing for the departure of Cargo Dragon SpaceX CRS-22. Just before closing the hatch, we pack it full of our frozen bodily fluids: blood, urine, saliva... and more that I won't mention :wink: Our bodies for science! The Dragon has working refrigerators on the home trip but we must be careful to not let the samples thaw out. Of course NASA thinks of everything and, we use these picnic cooler-like containers for transport. Our freezer cools to –80°C, so that is why we are wearing gloves!

Le beau Danube, moins bleu que blanc lorsqu’il traverse Vienne sous le reflet du soleil ☺. Strauss nous aurait menti ?!

Vienna, Austria, with the blue Danube appearing very white in the reflection of the Sun! Sorry to disappoint the romantics who thought it was always blue ☺
