Non, Shane ne se reconvertit pas en VRP de l’espace – il me montrait juste une des expériences d’étudiants :us: sur le comportement de mélanges dans des tubes. Procédure facile de notre côté, pour une fois : activation en actionnant un levier ou en … secouant les à la main. Certains vont redescendre dans quelques jours sur :earth_americas: pour la phase post-vol des observations.

Shane looks like he’s selling something but it’s actually a student nanoracks experiment, we need to mix liquids in a tube to activate the experiment, hold up to the camera for verification, and that is our job done! Later they will be analysed on Earth to study the chemical reaction.

The island of Ischia off the coast of Naples. My buddy and fellow ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano has his roots in Catania, Sicily. He always talks about it fondly (in true Luca style without ever stopping and very poetically :blush:) but he has never taken me there to visit! I have been to many other places in Italy and always enjoy the food and culture. Happy Birthday mon ami!
