Dragon commander (how cool of a title is that) Mike Hopkins tags the Space Station zenith docking port (only the second docking/undocking there), for his whole crew to sign. Honoured to have had you onboard, you all. We’ll take good care of the mothership now.

Le Commandant du Dragon (impossible de faire plus classe comme titre !) Mike Hopkins colle le sticker officiel de la capsule sur la paroi du port d’amarrage zénith (au plafond ;) ) de l’ISS pour que son équipage le signe avant leur départ – une tradition récente, puisque ce n’est que la deuxième fois que ce port accueillait une capsule. C’était un honneur de vous avoir à bord, Crew-1 ! A notre tour de prendre soindu vaisseau-mère maintenant.

During the night we said goodbye to our friends of Crew-1. It’s always a meticulous operation, to prep their vehicle, make sure everything is ready, then don their suits and close the hatch and undock. Lots of goodbyes, hugs and pictures. They were incredibly helpful in helping us getting settled on the International Space Station, and after completing their own mission, they set us up for a great start on our own. Donning the spacesuit is generally easy but in weightlessness it tends to have a life of its own!! They are now safe and sound back on Earth and dealing with gravity again, so long see you later Crew-1!

La nuit dernière nous avons fait nos adieux à nos amis de Crew-1. Il faut suivre un protocole minutieux, entre la préparation de la capsule, l’enfilage des scaphandres, la fermeture des sas et enfin le désamarrageen tant que tel. Beaucoup de mots échangés, d’embrassades et de photos souvenirs. L’équipage de Crew-1 nous a très bien accueillis à bord et nous ont mis sur de bons rails pour notre propre mission.
Sur Terre c’est facile de revêtir un scaphandre, mais en impesanteur il a tendance à se sentir pousser des ailes !!

In weightlessness, we all have super powers… Mark Vande Hei arrived on the International Space Station three weeks ago and has become incredibly strong! ‍♂️ No idea what I will become… super nice? Super funny? I can’t wait :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Arrivé en Soyouz, il n'a passé que 3 semaines dans l'espace mais Mark Vande Hei a déjà des super-pouvoirs ️ Les rageux et les jaloux diront que c'est plus facile en impesanteur :wink:
