Une autre aurore australe, on en profite parce que notre orbite nous amène à nouveau dans les bonnes zones au bon moment. J'aime la profondeur que donne la lumière de la Lune à cette photo, on voit distinctement l'atmosphère entre les nuages et les volutes vertes.

Most of the best #aurora pictures have now been shared, this one might not be the most striking, but I like the sense of perspective this aurora gives, under a moonlit sky.

Salt Lake City ! J'imagine que la ville doit son nom au grand lac salé situé juste à côté, il semblerait donc naturel que ceci soit... des marais salants ?

Salt Lake City, Utah, it is strange that I had to travel to space to realise that the city is aptly named... after the salt lakes in the area. I had never thought twice about it, but in retrospect it is very logical. :) There’s a strange association in my head between the city and jazz, because of the local Utah Jazz basketball team! Did you know the franchise started in New Orleans, which makes more sense? Yes ESPN I am available for this basketball analyst gig, but only in a couple of months.
