Looking down through a window, I see our robotic arm looking up! It seems to be enjoying flying 400km above Earth too.

Un regard par la fenêtre et j’aperçois le bras robotique levé vers nous ! Lui aussi a l’air d’apprécier le vol à 400km de la Terre.

Ça y est, le drapeau tricolore flotte dans le labo Colombus, mon nouveau bureau et digne représentant de l’Europe dans l’espace.

The French flag is now floating in Columbus, my new office and the home of Europe in space! The Columbus laboratory was launched to the International Space Station in 2008 and installed with the help of ESA astronaut Léopold Eyrhats. It has five racks to run science experiments from biology to metals and medicine in space!

NASA Astronaut Peggy Whitson travaille dans le labo américain. Biochimiste et astronaute expérimentée (déjà deux missions au compteur avant celle-ci !), elle se sent comme chez elle dans l’ISS. C’est la maison rêvée pour les scientifiques aventureux !

Peggy working in the American Destiny lab. She is a biochemist and experienced astronaut with two missions already under her belt – she feels right at home in the International Space Station!
