Nominee for Saboteur of the FDA

jeudi 6 avril 2017 à 02:00

Scott Gottlieb, nominated as Saboteur of the Food and Drug Administration, was paid by pharma companies while he condemned measures to stop companies from selling opioids.

The problem of opioid addiction seems to be the result of the harm done by dooH niboR and plutocracy in general, so the real solution is not in restricting availability of opioids but in changing the factors that lead so many people to want to drug themselves into insensibility. However, Gottlieb is evidently inclined to sell out and should not be an official.

Face recognition used on masses of people

jeudi 6 avril 2017 à 02:00

The FBI and various thug US departments are systematically using face recognition to recognize masses of people. In some cases, they match everyone they find.

New York City is preparing to match the faces of everyone that drives in and out of the city.

This creates a danger of total tyranny. I think Stalin is a better comparison than Hitler. The practice should be illegal.

No one (and that includes the FBI or any thug department) should be allowed to keep photos of everyone, or a large fraction of the population, neither alone nor in cooperation with others, nor allowed to take photos of everyone that passes a certain point or object except under a very specific court order.

Anyone over 20 considered a threat

A US high school won't let Bryce Maine choose his grandmother as prom date, because anyone over 20 is considered a threat to the graduating students' safety.

Remember when teenagers said not to trust anyone over 30? Now the school says not to trust anyone over 20.

Senior prom is one of those occasions on which people are pressured to waste their money on foolish luxuries. Do you actually need to spend that money to discover that it isn't important?
