Poland new spying law
vendredi 15 juillet 2016 à 02:00Poland has greatly loosened legal limits on spying on foreigners.
The law also authorizes internet censorship without a trial.
Both of these are world-wide trends in injustice. The defense of human rights, in most places, is not strong enough to win very often; governments that exaggerate the danger of "terrorists" usually succeed in driving the public to give up their rights.
The law also makes it very easy for the state to demand fingerprints and even DNA samples from foreign visitors. I think I will stay away from Poland.
It even restricts sale of prepaid phone cards. A real terrorist could surely steal one, but ordinary people will feel the clampdown.
