Burning all fossil fuels
lundi 14 septembre 2015 à 02:00A model predicts that burning all fossil fuels would melt the entire Antarctic ice sheet, eventually. This would raise sea level around 160 feet, adding to the 60 feet or so that would come from the Greenland ice sheet. Most of today's large cities would be inundated.
The complete melting would take many centuries, but even the first dose is a bad problem.
