Même après 200 jours à la survoler, la terre me surprend souvent avec son côté artistique (emoji pinceaux, peinture, palette) Elle déploie ici sa palette au Syvach, un ensemble de marais et de lagunes peu profondes, au nord de la Crimée. La culture du sel et les algues donnent ces teintes inattendues... l’endroit parfait pour y pêcher un poisson d’avril auhourd’hui ? :fish:

Ever the artist – Mother Nature painted two lakes in beautiful colours in the Syvach region, north of Crimea, for the astronauts to admire. The Syvash, or putrid sea (!), is a vast system of shallow lagoons, where salt culture and algae sometimes taint the water.

Je vous embarque sur un vol de nuit aujourd'hui, pour me rappeler le silence et le spectacle du survol de la terre dans l'obscurité... Obscurité rarement totale : on est guidé par les lumières humaines , et celles de la nature , le long des côtes du Mexique et de l'Amérique du Sud. Peut-être nous avait-on aperçus du sol, ce soir-là. #Proximarchives

Today I'm taking you on a night flight to remember the silence and spectacle of flying over Earth in the dark... Rarely total darkness: we are guided by human lights , and those of nature , along the coasts of Mexico and South America. Perhaps we were seen from the ground that night too.

Thinking of Greece whose independence day it is today... From bustling cities and an architectural masterpiece to idyllic islands. Here we have Athens and the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in history, Santorini, followed by the impressive Corinth Canal connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea and finally, I also have to share my passion for airports from space with you.

Une petite pensée pour la Grèce le jour de sa fête de l'indépendance... D'une ville dynamique et d'un vrai coup de maître architectural, d'une île idyllique et d'un aéroport international. ;) Voici Athènes et le site de l'une des plus grandes éruptions volcaniques de l'histoire, Santorin, suivie de l'impressionnant canal de Corinthe qui relie le golfe de Corinthe au golfe Saronique dans la mer Égée, et enfin, pour partager ma passion personnelle pour les #airportsfromspace: l'aéroport de Venizelos d'Athènes.
