Bonjour Genève ! :ch: ⛰️ On voit même le Jet d’eau, qui était une solution technique à un problème de pression hydraulique avant de devenir le symbole de la ville. Le Rhône quant à lui a tout de suite l’air moins impressionnant quand on le remonte jusqu’aux Alpes…

Geneva and the Leman Lake. They celebrate each year along the lake with fireworks, and you can understand why, it is magnificent! If you look closely you can see the famous water fountain by the main bridge that crosses the Rhone.

Melbourne, 1e ville de l'hémisphère sud à avoir accueilli les Jeux – les courts de l’Open d’Australie ont depuis rejoint le parc olympique de 1956, bien identifiable avec son grand

It was in Melbourne that the first @Olympics were held in Australia, but also outside of Europe or USA and the first time on the Southern Hemisphere too… in 1956. I am sure there is much that has changed in the city, this picture was taken almost 50 years afterwards :)
