:man:‍:rocket::man:‍:rocket: C’est reparti pour une nouvelle sortie, cette fois avec Aki :jp: Objectif aujourd’hui : construire et visser un support pour préparer le terrain à l’installation d’un nouveau panneau solaire en 2022. Et puis remplacer un déperditeur statique en panne qui sert à égaliser le potentiel électrique de la Station... (comment ça c’est moins facile à comprendre ?) Mais d’abord, de longues heures de préparation à l’intérieur à respirer de l’oxygène pur et revêtir le scaphandre, tout ça grâce à Mark et Megan :us: sans compter toute l’équipe qui nous prépare et accompagne depuis le sol – une sortie, c’est la quintessence du travail d’équipe :muscle: blogs.esa.int/exploration/fr/aki-and-thomas-spacewalk/

OK looks like Aki and I are going out, time for Megan, Mark and Shane to be their awesome selves in getting us out the door (and back in). A lot of work for the whole crew in space and on Earth is culminating in this spacewalk, total teamwork! Hey when I think of it, it’s the first time I’m supposed to venture out the door without my spacewalk partner Shane… thanks for showing me the ropes. blogs.esa.int/exploration/aki-and-thomas-spacewalk/ Aki is a rugby fan, and the rugby world organisation falls to France right after the last one in Japan!

Megan était installée dans la Cupola quand la caméra 360 ISSexperience, fixée au bout du bras robotique, est venue jeter un œil à l’intérieur. Ça m’a rappelé mon dernier entraînement sous-marin avec la NASA : parfois les poissons sont attirés par la lumière des hublots, souvent la seule source lumineuse environnante. Ça doit être une sorte de divertissement pour eux, un peu comme quand on visite un aquarium, sauf que dans ce cas c’est nous qui sommes à l’intérieur ! :fish:

Megan was in the Cupola when the 360 camera ISSexperience, perched at the end of the robotic arm, decided to come peek inside the ISS. It reminded me of a NASA underwater training mission, when all the fish came at night to look inside our deep sea habitat, which was the only light in the area, so it was entertainment for them: we were the aquarium!! :fish:
