Twitter have no access to !gnusocial. !gnusocial plugin act as an app to read and write tweets, Twitter have no informations form !gnusocial, the only infos Twitter gets is if you choose to publish your messages to twitter

Yes the plugin needs to be configured for this. I don't use Twitter but imagine there is a Twitter user = T user. You are on !gnusocial with #TwitterBridge working. 1/?
