vinilox favorited something by sazius: First quick report on my new Dell XPS 13 which arrived today:

- It's a really nice and sleak machine, with crazy high DPI display (3200x1800)
- I made a recovery image of the Ubuntu installation just in case and installed Debian Jessie
- Everything has worked out-of-the-box in Debian, except unfortunately WiFi needs a non-free firmware
- Only exception is that it seems the microphone doesn't work out-of-the-box in Debian, probably not a big problem, I just haven't looked into it yet
- Biggest minus is the track pad which is pretty crappy, fortunately I don't use it much
- Gnome and Emacs work surprisingly well with a high DPI screen, really zero problems so far
- Some of the icons in Pumpa do not like the high DPI, I have to look into this later... :-)
