Software security holes

mardi 14 mars 2017 à 01:00

Wikileaks has secret CIA files describing details of security holes, but rather than publishing these files, it will provide them to the software developers so they can fix the bugs.

I've seen people that hate Wikileaks say that developers should not trust this information if it comes from Wikileaks. This is irrational and absurd. A detailed report of a reproducible bug does not require you to trust everyone involved in forwarding it to you. You can verify it yourself.
