The mingling of modern humans with Neanderthal and Denisovan humans may have resulted in a burst of creativity from 50,000 to 30,000 years ago.

I think it is a mistake to include Homo floresiensis among ancestors of modern humans. They were more like Homo erectus, and there is no evidence that they did or could interbreed with Homo sapiens.
