Money spent to stir up bigotry

dimanche 12 mars 2017 à 01:00

A few foundations spent over 40 million dollars in the 2000s to stir up bigotry against Muslims in the US. We must suppose they have spent millions more since then.

While the bigots' description of Shari'a law is a caricature, we should not consider it innocent or harmless. It is true that Shari'a law endorses giving charity to the poor; that is one of the basic rules of Islam. It is also true that Shari'a law has principles and punishments repugnant to human rights — including the death penalty, applied for "crimes" such as blasphemy, and ceasing to be a Muslim.
