The bullshitter's campaign is filing many lawsuits against vote-counting procedures. Experts say they are frivolous and he has little chance of winning them. So why do do this?

I have two hypotheses:

• The campaign will appeal them up to the Supreme Court and it might now be so partisan as to make a bizarre decision to hand him victory.
• Perhaps the aim is to give Republican state legislators a fake-news "justification" for refusing to certify the result and undermine the electoral college.
