A Texas law forbids social media platforms from blocking or demoting posts, regardless of motive.

Right-wing ideas do not in practice face discrimination by the main antisocial media platforms. On the contrary, right-wing disinformation tends to get promoted and spread more.

The Supreme Court will eventually rule on that law. I have no confidence in it to make a good decision, but I won't try to forecast what it will say. I also don't have a clear idea of what the right decision would be.

That decision will probably take months; meanwhile, the law is in effect. So platforms face a quandary of what to do. I am not sure what I would do.
