The border thugs are not allowing journalists into the places where migrant children are being held.

Journalists must be allowed to photograph the conditions, and should have a chance to talk with the children too. Protecting the children from Covid-19 is indeed important, but I expect that methods can be designed for that. For instance, the journalists could be required to use use medical level PPE and show recent negative Covid-19 tests.
