Israel completely destroyed two large buildings in Gaza, saying that Hamas was using space in them.

One of them had 44 apartments. Hamas should not have used one of them for warlike activities — if indeed it did so; I would not take Israel's word for that. But if Hamas did so, that doesn't excuse destroying the building.
