The right wing used to attack leftist postmodernism for rejecting moral absolutes. Now the right-wing rejects the idea that there is any objective truth.

I think the term "scientific relativism" is inadequate to describe the bullshitter. I'd call it "Humpfty Drumpfty thinking" — "the truth is whatever I say it is".
