Millions of people in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras have been driven from their homes by the massive violence of organized crime.

It appears that Obama helped trigger this by deporting 300,000 people with criminal records back to those countries. I don't think it was wrong on principle to deport them, but those countries' governments needed help to handle them.

Speaking of those governments, those countries suffered from US-supported right wing repression some decades ago.
