China is planning to protect individual rights against automated discrimination that companies implement to increase profits.

I suppose that the official system of discrimination by "social credit score" will continue.

This illustrates the paradox of China. The state is powerful enough to keep companies from oppressing people; but, because it is nondemocratic and does not respect human rights itself, it does the oppression itself.
