Restoring mangrove swamps
samedi 6 novembre 2021 à 22:15Restoring mangrove swamps could be an effective way of sequestering large amounts of carbon in the sea.*
I see two possible problems with it.
- The amount that can be done is limited by the length of suitabkle shoreline that can be used.
- Whatever mangroves people restore, sea-level rise could destroy in a few decades. Will that release the carbon they will have sequestered?
