Beto O'Rourke

"Beto O'Rourke is the new Obama. And that's the last thing we need."

The misguided idea of choosing candidates by their demographics gives plutocrats and banksters (who are not stupid) a way to distract us from focusing on ending plutocracy. They did this with Obama (from a disprivileged group, blacks) and Clinton (from a disprivileged group, women), and they are now trying to do this with O'Rourke (from a disprivileged group, Hispanics).

A candidate from such a group is likely to work to protect that group from bigotry at the individual level. For instance, Obama knows what it is like to face retail racism, and Clinton knows what it is like to face retail sexism. Both of them have worked to oppose those.

However, neither of them is committed to ending wholesale racism and sexism, because they tie in with plutocracy. Those two bent the knee to plutocracy decades ago, and they don't have the heroism and audacity it would take to turn against the masters they have obeyed for so long. O'Rourke doesn't either.

We know Sanders can and will oppose them, because he has spent his life fighting them.
