When I was in high school I used to look back on my time in middle school and think "wow, I was such a socially inept egit, thank goodness I'm OK now". Now that high school is over I look back on my time there and think "wow, I was a complete autist, thank goodness I'm OK now". But then I realised that's how I felt back in High School too. What if I'm still a complete autist and I just don't know it, except in three years time when I look back on the now?
