I think we can agree that American Idiot is shit, but would you say that some of Green Day's older stuff like Dookie and Warning are at least listenable? As the internet's #1 Green Day expert and oracle, I figured you were the best person to ask.

they’re listenable I guess?? I’m not in middle school anymore so I don’t enjoy listening to it or think it’s in any way good or super punk rock and cool but I think I could listen to it now and not want to rip my ears off, I dunno. I have a lot of nostalgia for the songs on Dookie and Nimrod tbh. Warning was a bit of a mixed bag but they were experimenting with different styles and stuff
American idiot was pretty awful but I think the worst has to be their latest thing where they made like three albums and thought it was a work of genius
they just shat out a bunch of mediocre songs to fill each album and acted like it was a masterpiece and the greatest moment of their careers as pop punk 40 year old men who dress like 15 year olds in hot topic
